The GSA is hosting a mobile app development competition to promote the benefits of the Galileo satellite service. The MyGalileoApp competition tasks competitors with developing a mobile app that utilises signals provided by Galileo, with the objective of showcasing the enhanced performance that the Galileo signals enable.

MyGalileoApp is the ultimate proving ground for students to demonstrate their skills and creative thinking against competitors from all areas of the mobile development community. Finalists will receive personalised mentoring from technical and business experts to support them in launching their app into the commercial market. To demonstrate the GSA’s commitment to showcasing these technologies and supporting the development of Galileo enhanced applications, the winning team will walk away with €100,000. The competition will serve as a networking hub, enabling students to openly discuss their ideas with other organisations and potential employers.
